Betcha' Taylor Swift has never been compared to...

We had our own Lebron James/D. Wade drama last week as Rascal Flatts signed with Taylor Swift's record company. There were rumors, followed by a lively press conference and one team left shattered.

In this case, the roll of Cleveland Cavaliers is being played by Lyric Street Records. The company will likely shut it's doors, leaving artists like Bucky Covington out of recording contract.

That's a shame for Bucky, who is a genuinely good guy and a fun interview.

Big Machine Records – the new Miami Heat of country music – also carry Steel Magnolia and Reba (on a sister label). They're poised to make a hell of a lot of money over the next few years.

I hope there's still a place out there for Bucky though.
