There's an inverse coloration between how important a parcel of mail is, and how important it claims to be.
“Important Account Information Enclosed”
“Offer expires soon!”
“Response Needed”
“Very important document”
If a credit card company ever stamped an envelope with “Junk Mail” you'd probably sign up immediately.
I guess people are sort of the same way. Anyone who puts so much effort into making himself sound important, usually isn't company I wish to keep.
Ironically I've built a blog to showcase my views on music and the world in general. It's hardly a humble way to introduce myself.
Hubris was never a imperfection I could out run either I suppose.
